
ATLANTA, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Ryan Reid scored four of his 17 points in overtime Sunday, leading Florida State's 66-59 ACC upset at 15th-ranked Georgia Tech.
Tech's Zachery Peacock forced the overtime by sinking a jumper, creating a 54-54 tie with 21 seconds left in regulation, and then sank a 3-pointer 34 seconds into the extra five-minute period.
Reid followed with a jumper and a layup, giving FSU a 58-57 lead with 3:04 remaining, and the Seminoles held the lead the rest of the way.
Deividas Dulkys scored 12 points and Chris Singleton had 10 with three assists and two steals. Solomon Alabi had nine points and 12 rebounds for the Seminoles (10-2, 1-0), who have won four in a row.
Peacock's 17 points and four rebounds led Tech. Mfon Udofia, the only other Georgia Tech player in double figures, scored 12 for the Yellow Jackets (8-2, 0-1), whose seven-game winning streak ended.
