PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Goals by Artem Anisimov and Chris Drury and solid goalkeeping by Henrik Lundqvist Saturday carried the New York Rangers to a 2-1 win over Philadelphia.
Drury got the first goal 5:16 into the first period when his low, stick-side shot beat Brian Boucher and Anisimov got what turned out to be the game-winner 4:46 into the second when his backhander deflected off a defender and eluded Boucher.
Lundqvist turned aside 36 Flyers shots, including 16 in the final period, in helping New York to its second straight win after a five-game losing streak.
The only goal Philadelphia could muster was Chris Pronger's fifth goal of the season that tied the score 3 minutes after Drury's tally.
Boucher made 22 saves as the Flyers' lost for the 10th time in 12 games overall.
