COL BKB: Clemson 80, East Carolina 63

GREENVILLE, N.C., Dec. 17 (UPI) -- Trevor Booker came up one assist short of a triple-double Wednesday in leading No. 24 Clemson to an 80-63 triumph over East Carolina.

Booker scored 13 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and handed out nine assists. The Tigers grabbed a 12-4 lead, built a 46-29 advantage at halftime and cruised during the final 20 minutes.

Andre Young scored 16 points for Clemson (9-2). The Tigers made 10-of-24 shots from 3-point range and scored 18 points off East Carolina turnovers.

The Pirates (4-6) were led by Darrius Morrow with 16.
