NBA: Denver 102, Oklahoma City 93

DENVER, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony scored 31 points and Denver sank 15-of-18 fourth-quarter free throws Monday to outlast the Oklahoma City Thunder 102-93.

The Nuggets took a 13-point lead into the final quarter and stayed in front the rest of the way.

J.R. Smith added 19 points and Chris Anderson had 15 for the Nuggets, who made 34-of-40 free throws in the game.

Russell Westbrook and Nick Collison scored 14 points apiece for the Thunder, which had 21 turnovers to 18 for Denver.
