
CHAPEL HILL, N.C., Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Ed Davis compiled 20 points, 10 rebounds and five blocked shots Saturday, leading 10th-ranked North Carolina in a 103-64 rout of Presbyterian College.
UNC's work was keyed by a 56-21 halftime bulge, including 16-1 advantage less than 5 minutes into the contest, and its largest advantage was the winning 39-point margin.
Deon Thompson scored 19 with six rebounds.
Larry Drew II had 12 points and nine assists, while John Henson added 11 points and nine rebounds for the Tar Heels (8-2), who bounced back from a 68-66 loss at Kentucky last Saturday.
Chase Holmes led Presbyterian with 29 points and six rebounds.
Walt Allen, the only other player in double figures, scored 10 points for the Blue Hose (2-8), who committed 17 turnovers and shot just 41 percent from the field in their third loss in a row.
