AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 12 (UPI) -- Damion James had 21 points and 16 rebounds Saturday to lead second-ranked Texas in an 87-54 rout of tiny Texas State.
The Longhorns trailed once 2-0 on Tony Bishop's jumper with 18:40 left in the first half, but led 46-24 at the break.
They emptied their bench in a 41-30 second half.
Avery Bradley scored 15 points.
Jordan Hamilton scored 14 with seven rebounds and four assists, while 11 of12 players scored for the Longhorns (8-0), who have won every game this season by at least 16 points.
J.B. Conley's 10 points and seven rebounds paced Texas State.
Josh Bowman scored eight points, and Emmanuel Bidias a Moute added eight points and five rebounds for the Bobcats (3-7), who have lost to the Longhorns 21 straight times.
In a ragged contest, Texas committed 18 turnovers to 21 by the Bobcats.
