INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- The Indianapolis Colts can match an NFL record with a 22nd straight victory if they beat the Denver Broncos Sunday.

If they win the contest at Lucas Oil Stadium, their home field, they will better the 21-game streak of the 2006-08 New England Patriots, the longest in NFL history.

The Colts already have recorded a league-record five fourth-quarter rallies on the way to their 12-0 record, excluding last Sunday's 27-17 win over the Tennessee Titans, and a victory would give the AFC South winners the No. 1 seed home field advantage throughout the conference playoffs.

"We're going to have to drive the ball down, and when we get to the red zone, we're going to have to come away with touchdowns (when we get the opportunity)," Denver quarterback Kyle Orton told the Denver Post this week in talking about the Broncos's task.
