COL BKB: Cincinnati 63, Miami (Ohio) 59

CINCINNATI, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Cashmere Wright touched off a streak of eight straight points late in the game Thursday that lifted No. 19 Cincinnati to a 63-59 win over Miami (Ohio).

Kenny Hayes made two free throws for Miami with 5 minutes left, drawing the Redhawks within two points.

Cincinnati then went on the key run that broke open the game and the Bearcats held on while improving to 6-1.

Lance Stephenson led Cincinnati with 17 points and eight rebounds. Wright and Dion Dixon both had 12.

Miami (2-7) got 19 points from Kenny Hayes. Cincinnati had been idle since a 94-57 rout of Texas Southern on Dec. 1.
