NBA: Utah 104, San Antonio 101

SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- The Utah Jazz, paced by Carlos Boozer's 27 points, outfought San Antonio down the stretch Monday and beat the Spurs 104-101.

Deron Williams and Ronnie Brewer each had 17 points for Utah, which has won five of six games.

The Jazz outscored the Spurs 37-19 in the third quarter but the lead changed hands in the fourth. San Antonio led 101-100 with 28.2 seconds to go but Williams hit a jumper to put Utah back on top and the Jazz's Mehmet Okur closed the scoring with a pair of free throws.

Matt Bonner led San Antonio with a 28 points, the top total of his NBA career. Tim Duncan had 23 points and Tony Parker 22 for the Spurs, who have dropped three straight games following a five-game win streak.
