THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Graeme McDowell, a last-minute replacement for Tiger Woods, shared the lead at the Chevron World Championship Saturday with PGA champion Y.E. Yang.

McDowell shot a 6-under 66 Saturday and Yang carded a 1-under 71 to end the third round of the Southern California tournament at 10-under 206.

Padraig Harrington and Lee Westwood were tied for third at 9-under 207 heading into Sunday's final round at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks. Sunday's forecast called for chilly, cloudy weather and a 20 percent chance of rain.

McDowell carded three birdies and a bogey on the front nine Saturday and then birdied 11 and 12 to take the lead. After a birdie on 15, McDowell stumbled on the 16th with a tee-shot that landed in a bunker and a second shot that landed in the water. He two-putted for a double bogey.

Yang birdied the 16th and made par on the final two holes to grab a share of the lead with McDowell.
