
MIAMI, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Dan Carpenter's 41-yard field goal with 1:02 left turned out to be the game-winner for Miami Sunday in a 22-21 win over the New England Patriots.
After Carpenter's kick, the Dolphins' Channing Crowder intercepted a Tom Brady pass, securing the victory.
Chadd Henne passed for 335 yards and two touchdowns for Miami (6-6), which came from 14 points behind.
Henne's scoring throws were a 13-yarder to Davone Bess and a 7-yarder to Brian Hartline.
Carpenter also kicked field goals of 29 and 24 yards.
Brady was 19-of-29 for 352 yards and two long touchdowns. He passed to Randy Moss for a 56-yard score and to Sam Aiken on a TD play that covered 81 yards.
Kevin Faulk scored on a 6-yard run for the Patriots (7-5), who have lost three of their last four contests.
