
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Dec. 6 (UPI) -- David Garrard passed for two touchdowns and Josh Scobee kicked three field goals for the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday in a 23-18 win over Houston.
Garrard's scoring throws were for 35 yards to Nate Hughes and 4 yards to Ernest Wilford.
The Jaguars (7-5), who remain in wild card contention in the AFC, have have won four of their last five games.
Matt Schaub and Rex Grossman shared quarterback duties in the fourth consecutive loss for the Texans (5-7).
Schaub completed 19-of-27 passes for 207 yards, including a 1-yard touchdown to Andre Johnson, and was intercepted once.
Grossman was 3-of-9 for 33 yards and an interception.
The Jaguars also picked off a halfback pass attempt deep in their own territory in the fourth quarter.
