
LOUISVILLE, Ky., Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Chris Braswell's 21 points and 14 rebounds Saturday keyed Charlotte's 87-65 trouncing of 18th-ranked Louisville.
Charlotte dominated the first half on the way to a 47-32 advantage at the break, then opened the second with a 7-0 run.
A jump shot by Phil Jones gave Charlotte its biggest lead, 82-56, with four minutes remaining.
Derrio Green scored 20 points and Shamarr Bowden 17, while DiJuan Harris added 12 points, four rebounds and seven assists for the 49ers (6-1), who have won four games in a row.
Samardo Samuels led Louisville with 14 points and four rebounds.
Mike Marra scored 11 with three rebounds, but no other player scored in double figures for the Cardinals (5-2), who have lost two of three.
They shot just 35.9 percent to Charlotte's 45.5 percent.
