Neighbors aided Woods after car crash

WINDERMERE, Fla., Dec. 5 (UPI) -- A shoeless Tiger Woods lay snoring on the ground in the minutes after his recent car crash, neighbors near Windermere, Fla., told police.

Woods, 33, hit a fire hydrant and a tree before being freed from the 2009 Cadillac sport utility vehicle by his wife Elin Nordegren, who reportedly used a golf club to break a window and release the car's door locks.

Neighbor Kimberly Harris and her brother, Jarius Adams, told the Florida State Highway Patrol they called 911 and then covered the shoeless and snoring Woods with a blanket and put pillows under his head, CNN reported Saturday.

Woods was bleeding slightly from the lip and did not smell of alcohol, Adams told police.

Meanwhile, Gloria Allred, the lawyer for Woods's alleged mistress, Rachel Uchitel, 34, of New York, declined Friday to comment amid reports Woods was willing to pay Uchitel a $1 million to remain silent about him, the Boston Herald reported.
