SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Carlo Colaiacovo scored with 7 seconds left in regulation Thursday and T.J. Oshie came through in the shootout, bringing St. Louis a 3-2 win over San Jose.
The Sharks, owners of the best record in the NHL, had a three-game winning streak snapped.
San Jose appeared headed for a victory when Colaiacovo produced a shorthanded goal that forced overtime.
Andy McDonald scored in the first round of the shootout for the Blues and Patrick Marleau tied it to start the third round. Oshie then bested Evgeni Nabokov for the victory.
St. Louis ended a two-game skid, but remained in last place in the Central Division.
Ty Conklin made 32 saves for the Blues to win for just the second time in six starts. Nabokov stopped 28 shots.
