COL BKB: Texas A&M 84, Prairie View A&M 59

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Khris Middleton keyed a strong second half Wednesday that sent No. 22 Texas A&M sailing past Prairie View A&M 84-59.

Middleton scored 17 points to go with seven rebounds.

Texas A&M led by only nine at halftime, but put together a 14-4 run early in the second period to take control. The Aggies shot 50 percent from the field and made 12-of-31 from 3-point range while improving to 6-1.

Michael Griffin scored 16 for the Panthers (3-3).

It was the 59th straight home win for the Aggies against non-conference opponents.
