
PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Michael Beasley scored 27 points and Dwyane Wade tallied 22 with a dozen assists Tuesday in Miami's 107-100 road win at Portland.
Quentin Richardson added 20 points for the Heat, who held of a fourth-quarter rally by the Trail Blazers and ended their two-game losing streak.
Portland, which has lost three in a row, was led by Brandon Roy's 25 points and a career-high 20 from Greg Oden. Oden also had 13 rebounds and blocked three shots.
Miami led much of the way. An 11-point run late in the third quarter gave the Heat an 88-72 advantage.
Portland was able to narrow the gap to single digits with 4 minutes left in the game on a layup by Andre Miller, who scored 18 in the game. Jermaine O'Neal's jumper on the next possession put Miami up by 11. The Heat used free-throw shooting to seal the victory in the stretch.
