Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

DENVER, Dec. 2 (UPI) -- The Denver Nuggets roughed up Golden State 135-107 Tuesday behind Carmelo Anthony's 25 points and Chauncey Billups' 22.
Nene scored 18 points for the Nuggets, who had won five of their last six games.
Golden State's Anthony Morrow led all scorers with 27 points and Vladimir Radmanovic added 17 for the Warriors, who led 28-25 at the end of the first quarter but saw their lead disappear for good midway through the second quarter.
The Nuggets went on a 12-2 run that made it 41-35 just 4 minutes into the second quarter. Anthony's 3-pointer with 3:10 to play in the quarter expanded Denver's lead to 60-42.
Denver held a 69-55 lead at halftime and came out of the locker room with 10-2 streak that pushed the margin to 107-84.
