NEW YORK, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- The New York Knicks got 27 points and 10 rebounds from Danilo Gallinari to bounce Phoenix 126-99 Tuesday in a surprising rout.

New York also benefited from David Lee's 24 points and Al Harrington's 22 points as the Knicks won for the first time in six games in downing the team with the best record in the NBA. Lee and Harrington both had eight rebounds.

The Knicks, who entered the game with a 3-14 mark, got the win for Coach Mike D'Antoni over his former team, whom he led for four-plus seasons before coming to New York last year.

Larry Hughes had 12 assists to go with 11 points for New York. Wilson Chandler added 14 points.

The Suns, who were held to under 100 points for the first time this season, were led by Steve Nash's 20 points. Amare Stoudemire, Jason Richardson and Alando Tucker each added 14 points for Phoenix.
