OAKLAND, Calif., Dec. 1 (UPI) -- The Golden State Warriors buried a bad start Monday and rode Monta Ellis's 45 points to a 126-107 victory over the Indiana Pacers.
Ellis's career night included hitting 15-of-27 from the field and 14-of-16 from the free-throw line.
Anthony Morrow and CJ Watson put in 18 points apiece for Golden State, which had lost five of its last seven games. Corey Maggette added 14.
The Pacers got 22 points apiece from Danny Granger and Mike Dunleavy, and 21 from Dahntay Jones. T.J. Ford scored in 17 for Indiana, which has lost six of its last seven.
Golden State trailed the Pacers by eight after the first quarter and was down 39-25 early in the second. Indiana was up 66-53 early in the third period.
The Warriors went on runs of 14-4 and 7-0 that gave them an 85-83 edge. They held sway in the final period, starting with a 12-2 stretch, with Ellis scoring the first seven points that put them up by 15 with 7 minutes left.
