COL FB: LSU 33, Arkansas 30 (OT)

BATON ROUGE, La., Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Alex Tejada missed a 36-yard field goal in overtime and 17th-ranked LSU escaped with a 33-30 SEC win over Arkansas.

The contest went into overtime after Josh Jasper 's 41-yard field goal tied the game 30-30 with four seconds left in the fourth quarter.

Jasper's 36-yarder later won the contest on LSU's only possession in overtime.

LSU's Jordan Jefferson passed for 178 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

Brandon LaFell caught four passes for 68 yards with one touchdown, while Trindon Holliday scored on an 87-yard second-quarter punt return for the Tigers (9-3, 5-3), who broke a two-game losing steak against the Razorbacks.

Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett passed for 228 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Dennis Johnson and Ronnie Wingo Jr. gained a combined 117 rushing yards, while Tejada made three earlier field goals for the Razorbacks (7-5, 3-5).
