INDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki scored 31 points Friday and Dallas won for the seventh time in eight games by overwhelming Indiana 113-92.

The Mavericks grabbed 21 more rebounds than the Pacers and maintained a three-game lead over San Antonio in the Southwest Division.

Dallas has just four losses this season. Only Phoenix and the Los Angeles Lakers have fewer.

Nowitzki made 10-of-14 shots from the field and 11-of-13 from the line. Jason Terry added 17 points and Shawn Marion had 13.

Danny Granger led Indiana with 20 points. Granger had missed the previous game with a sprained knee ligament.

The Mavericks went on a 13-0 run in the second period en route to a 66-54 advantage at the break. Dallas then scored the final 11 points of the third period and took a 26-point cushion into the fourth quarter.

Dallas has defeated Indiana in nine of the teams' last 11 meetings.
