Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
STARKVILLE, Miss., Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Chris Relf's three second-half touchdowns Saturday brought Mississippi State a 41-27 win over No. 25 Mississippi in the intrastate rivals' Golden Egg game.
Relf threw for two scores and ran for the third. He finished with 131 yards rushing.
Anthony Dixon added another 133 yards on the ground with one touchdown on 29 carries for the Bulldogs (5-7, 3-5 SEC).
The Rebels' Jevan Snead completed 17-of-29 passes for 275 yards and three touchdowns, but was intercepted three times. Dexter McCluster rushed for 82 yards on 16 carries and had a 52-yard touchdown reception for Ole Miss (9-3, 5-3).
