PROVO, Utah, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Max Hall's second touchdown pass Saturday lifted 15th-ranked Brigham Young to a 26-23 Mountain West Conference overtime win over No. 19 Utah.

Hall's 12th completion in 32 passes, which followed a 29-yard field goal by Joe Phillips that had given Utah a 23-20 lead, likely secured BYU's battle for a BCS bowl bid.

Harvey Unga rushed for 116 yards on 23 carries and Mitch Payne kicked two field goals.

The Cougars (10-2, 7-1) will carry a four-game winning streak into the post-season after their victory in Saturday's lone contest where the combatants were both ranked.

Eddie Wide led Utah with 114 yards on 21 carries with one touchdown.

Phillips kicked three field goals.

Jordan Wynn passed for 198 yards with one interception, and Aiona Key caught 10 passes for 85 yards for the Utes (9-3, 6-2).

BYI had possession of the ball for 44 minutes to 31 for Utah.
