NHL: Vancouver 4, Los Angeles 1

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Henrik Sedin touched off a three-goal third period with a game-winning score Thursday and the Vancouver Canucks beat Los Angeles 4-1.

Vancouver, which has won three of its last four games, went ahead in the first period on a goal by Alexandre Burrows, assisted by Henrik Sedin and Daniel Sedin. The Kings tied it with just 43 seconds left in the second period when Wayne Simmonds scored his seventh goal of the season, with assists by Scott Parse and Randy Jones.

Henrik Sedin scored the game-winner, his 14th goal of the season, off a feed from Alexander Edler at 3:54 of the third. Tanner Glass made it 3-1 with a goal at 7:18 of the third and Kyle Wellwood scored on an empty net with 6 seconds left to play.

Robert Luongo stopped 31 shots for the Canucks.

Jonathan Quick was 30-of-33 in goal for the Kings.
