DETROIT, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Miikka Kiprusoff's 40-save effort Friday boosted the Calgary Flames to a 3-0 victory against the Detroit Red Wings.

Kiprusoff made 32 saves in the first two periods -- 15 in the first and 17 in the second -- in his second shutout this season.

Offensively, Jamie Lundmark, Nigel Dawes and Olli Jokinen scored one goal apiece.

Lundmark also had one assist and Jarome Iginla two assists for the Flames, who have won three of four.

Goalkeeper Chris Osgood was beaten three times on only 17 shots for the Red Wings, who have scored just one goal in three straight losses.

On the power play in the penalty-filled contest, Calgary was 0-for-2, and Detroit was scoreless on its six man-advantage opportunities.
