DENVER, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- David Legwand scored with 1:53 remaining in overtime Wednesday to give Nashville its seventh straight victory -- 4-3 over Colorado.
Legwand collected a loose puck in front of the goal and lifted a shot over the blocker pad of Craig Anderson. The Predators have not lost since Nov. 10 at San Jose.
Colorado rallied from a two-goal deficit with three scores in the second period, but Shea Weber tied it with 1:53 left in the second and it remained a 3-3 game throughout the third.
Colorado lost for the sixth time in eight games.
Nashville is one victory away from tying the franchise's record winning streak. The Predators won eight in a row to begin the 2005-06 season. Nashville will try to tie the record Friday when it hosts St. Louis.
