Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

SACRAMENTO, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Donte Greene scored 24 points and had five assists and six blocks -- both career highs -- in leading Sacramento to a 111-97 win over New York Wednesday.
The Kings ended a four-game losing streak with the help of rookie Tyreke Evans, who had 19 points and 11 rebounds. Evans, however, had a streak of seven straight games with at least 20 points come to an end.
New York was paced by David Lee with 25 points and 12 rebounds.
The Kings opened the game on a 19-6 run and were never threatened. Sacramento began the second quarter with a 15-4 surge and it also produced an 11-0 run in the third period.
New York, winner of just three games all season, has lost three in a row.
