ST. PAUL, Minn., Nov. 25 (UPI) -- David Krejci scored in the fourth round of a shootout Wednesday to give Boston a 2-1 win over Minnesota.

Each side produced one goal during the first three shootout rounds, after which Krejci put a backhander past Niklas Backstrom. Tuukka Rask then turned aside an attempt by former Bruin Chuck Kobasew to end the game.

Boston ended a four-game road trip having won all four.

Byron Bitz scored for Boston in the opening period and Andrew Ebbett tied it in the second.

Rask made 28 saves. Backstrom suffered a hard-luck loss after stopping 15-of-16 shots. Minnesota has lost five of its last six.

It was Boston's first win over Minnesota since December 2005.
