SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant scored 28 points Tuesday to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 104-94 win over Utah.

Jeff Green added 19 points for the Thunder and Russell Westbrook had 17.

Carlos Boozer led the Jazz with 26 points and Mehmet Okur scored 13 in his first action since missing three games with flulike symptoms.

Durant scored 11 of his points in third quarter as Oklahoma City outscored the Jazz 31-16 and broke open what had been a close game. After leading by a point at the half, the Thunder opened up a 79-66 lead on Durant's jumper with 3:16 left in the third.

The Thunder led by double digits much of the fourth quarter. Paul Milsap, who scored 19 for the Jazz, scored on a dunk to cut Oklahoma City's lead to 96-88 with 2:58 to play but Westbrook converted four free throws and Green hit a jumper to extend the margin to 102-88.
