Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

NEW YORK, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Jerome Dyson and Kemba Walker both scored 20 points Wednesday and No. 13 Connecticut coasted to an 81-55 triumph over LSU.
The victory came in the semifinals of the NIT Season Tip-Off Tournament at Madison Square Garden.
The Huskies, unbeaten in their four games this season, scored 21 fast-break points and produced an eight-point run in the first half en route to a 45-29 advantage at intermission.
Stanley Robinson added 14 points and 11 rebounds in the most one-sided Connecticut win this season.
LSU (3-1) was led by Storm Warren with 15 points. Bo Spencer, LSU's leading scorer through its first three games, made just 2-of-15 from the floor and scored five points.
