IRVING, Texas, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Florida again was No. 1 Sunday when college football's latest Bowl Championship Series poll was released.
Based on percentage totals of the Harris Interactive poll, USA Today Coaches' poll and computer rankings, the 11-0 Gators amassed a .9664 average following a 62-3 non-conference rout Saturday of Florida International.
Florida is first in the human polls and second in the average of the computer rankings. the Gators' Southeastern Conference foe Alabama is third in the Harris and USA Today voting but tops the computer average. Florida and Alabama meet Dec. 5 in the SEC championship game.
The BCS standings have Florida followed by Alabama (.9614), Texas (.9263), Texas Christian (.8609), Cincinnati (.8591), Boise State (.7834), Georgia Tech (.7756), Oregon (.6724), Pittsburgh (.6638) and Oregon State (.6523) in the Top 10.
The first seven schools, all unbeaten, repeated their spots from last week's poll.
Florida and Alabama face traditional rivals Florida State and Auburn before their Dec. 5 showdown. Texas has a regular-season game against Texas A&M on its schedule before it heads to the Big 12 championship game Dec. 5 against Nebraska.
