Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

TAMPA, Fla., Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Drew Brees passed for three touchdowns and Mike Bell ran for two Sunday, carrying unbeaten New Orleans to a 38-7 rout of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Brees threw scoring passes of 4 and 6 yards to Robert Meachem and connected with David Thomas on a 15-yard touchdown play, finishing with 19 completions in 29 attempts for 187 yards.
Bell ran for touchdowns of 1 and 3 yards. New Orleans (10-0) also scored on a 38-yard field goal by John Carney, which broke a 7-7 tie in the second quarter.
Tampa Bay Rookie Josh Freeman completed 17-of-33 passes for 126 yards, including an 18-yard scoring toss to Michael Clayton, but was intercepted three times.
The Buccaneers (1-9) had just 219 yards total offense.
