Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
FOXBOROUGH, Mass., Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Tom Brady threw for 310 yards and one touchdown Sunday, leading the New England Patriots to an easy 31-14 AFC East win over the New York Jets.
The 4-yard touchdown pass to Randy Moss on the last play in the first quarter gave New England a 14-0 advantage.
Wes Welker made 15 receptions for 192 yards. Laurence Maroney gained 77 yards on 22 carries and Leigh Bodden had three interceptions, returning one for a first-quarter touchdown for the Patriots (7-3), who recovered from last week's 35-34 loss at Indianapolis.
New York's Mark Sanchez passed for 136 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions.
Jerricho Cotchery made three catches for 84 yards and one touchdown, Brad Smith scored after a blocked punt and Thomas Jones gained 103 yards on 21 carries for the Jets (4-6), who have lost six of seven.
