MIAMI, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Udonis Haslem's 15-foot jump shot in the closing seconds Sunday boosted the Miami Heat to a 102-101 win over the New Orleans Hornets.

Haslem's shot, which erased a 101-100 deficit with 15 seconds left, capped a 14-point, seven-rebound, three assists performance.

Miami led after each period -- 30-25 after the first, 59-52 at the half and 86-83 after the third -- but the Hornets stayed close until Peja Stojakovic's jumper gave them a 95-91 lead with 6:22 left.

Dwyane Wade had 31 points and six rebounds. Michael Beasley had 17 points and nine rebounds, Jermaine O'Neal had 15 points and four rebounds, and Mario Chalmers had 12 points and nine assists for the Heat, who broke a three-game losing streak.

Marcus Thornton's 24 points led the Hornets. Stojakovic and James Posey scored 14 points apiece and David West scored 13 with nine rebounds for the Hornets, whose three-game winning streak ended.
