COL FB: Utah 38, San Diego State 7

SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Eddie Wide rushed for 84 yards with two touchdowns Saturday, leading No. 23 Utah to an easy 38-7 Mountain West Conference win over San Diego State.

He scored both touchdowns in the first quarter.

Jordan Wynn completed 14-of-28 passes for 195 yards with one touchdown.

Joe Phillips kicked a 47-yard field goal on the last play of the second quarter, while Shaky Smithson ran for one touchdown for the Utes (9-2, 6-1), who bounced back from a humbling 55-28 loss at TCU last Saturday.

SDSU's Ryan Lindley was 17-for-37 for 207 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

Dominique Sandifer made seven catches for 74 yards, scoring on Sandifer's 17-yard fourth-quarter pass and Brandon Sullivan gained 55 yards on 18 carries for the Aztecs (4-7, 2-5), who have lost three in a row.
