Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
LOUISVILLE, Ky., Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Samardo Samuels scored 23 points for No. 22 Louisville, which almost lost a big lead but rallied late Sunday and took down Morgan State 90-81.
The Cardinals (3-0) had a 15-point advantage at halftime but had it cut to five points before using a 10-2 surge to pull away in the final 6 minutes.
Preston Knowles contributed 13 points and Edgar Sosa had 12 for Louisville.
Dewayne Jackson sank four 3-pointers and ended up with 21 points for the Bears (3-1).
