
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Jacob Pullen scored 26 points with five rebounds and four assists Sunday, leading Kansas State to an 83-75 win over No. 21 Dayton.
The game was for third place at the Puerto Rico Tip-Off in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
KSU stretched a 35-28 halftime lead to 50-35 on Denis Clemente's 3-pointer with 13:57 left before holding off a late Flyers' rally.
Clemente had 21 points, three rebounds and two steals. Jamar Samuels had 12 points and seven rebounds, while eight players scored at least two points for the Wildcats (4-1), who suffered an 86-74 loss to Ole Miss Friday.
Chris Johnson's 16 points and six rebounds led Dayton. Chris Wright scored 15 with 10 rebounds.
Marcus Johnson scored 14, and Paul Williams added 10 points with three rebounds for the Flyers (2-2), who lost twice in San Juan.
