LOS ANGELES, Nov. 21 (UPI) -- A hat trick by Jarome Iginla keyed Calgary's offense in its 5-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings Saturday.
Iginla opened the scoring just 13 seconds into the contest with a wrist shot on the Flames' first run at Kings goalie Jonathan Quick, then added scores in the second and third periods for his first career hat trick.
Daymond Langkow and David Moss scored the other goals for visiting Calgary.
The Kings had goals from Drew Dougherty and Alexander Frolov within a 38-second span in the second period to tie the score 2-2. Calgary came back with three goals in the third period. Langkow's score at 7:22 of the third period proved to be the game-winner.
Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 23 shots in the win. Quick gave up five goals on 32 shots.
