EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Nov. 21 (UPI) -- The New Jersey Nets remained winless Saturday after losing to the New York Knicks 98-91.

Danilo Gallinari and Al Harrington each scored 17 points for the Knicks as New Jersey fell to 0-13, four losses from the NBA record for worst starts -- 17 straight losses, set by the expansion Miami Heat in 1988 and matched by the Los Angeles Clippers in 1999.

David Lee added 16 points and a dozen rebounds for the Knicks, who had six players in double figures.

Chris Douglas-Roberts scored 24 points to lead the Nets, hitting 11 of 19 shots. Brook Lopez added 18 and had 12 rebounds.

The Knicks led much of the way and were on top 52-43 at halftime. The Nets drew to within two points twice in the fourth quarter but were unable to reel the Knicks in. Harrington hit a 3-pointer with 59.9 seconds to play to give New York a 94-87 lead.
