NEW YORK, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has formed a forum to address the lives of players on and off the field on several issues, including health and safety.

The NFL Player Advisory Forum includes Arizona quarterback Kurt Warner, Baltimore linebacker Ray Lewis, Denver safety Brian Dawkins, and NBC Sports analyst Tony Dungy, the former coach of the Indianapolis Colts.

"Players continue to be an invaluable resource in providing direction and insight into a wide range of programs and policies," Goodell said in a release Thursday. "(Dungy's) experience and expertise in working with players make him an ideal leader and we appreciate his willingness to take on this important role."

Goodell added that Dungy will organize meetings, identify the player attendees, and develop a list of topics for discussion.

"This will be a great new way for players … to be part of the process of improving the league for everybody," Dawkins said.
