NBA: Utah 90, San Antonio 83

SAN ANTONIO, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- A 3-point play by Carlos Boozer with a minute to play gave Utah a four-point lead Thursday and the Jazz held on to defeat San Antonio 90-83.

Boozer scored 18 points with 11 rebounds, Deron Williams had 21 points with 10 assists and Paul Millsap contributed 20 points off the bench.

Utah won its second straight and the injury-depleted Spurs have dropped three in a row.

San Antonio trailed by as many as 11 in the first half but battled back to within one when Boozer took a pass from Williams and scored from in close for an 86-83 lead.

Boozer was fouled on the play and converted the free throw attempt, after which San Antonio's Antonio McDyess missed a turnaround jumper.

Ronnie Brewer then made a free throw with 46 seconds to play that all but wrapped up the game.

San Antonio played without Tony Parker, who sat with an ankle injury, and Manu Ginobili, who has a groin strain that is expected to keep him out for at least a week.

Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 21 points. George Hill had 18 in a rare start before fouling out.
