COL BKB: Clemson 89, N.C.-Greensboro 67

GREENSBORO, N.C., Nov. 20 (UPI) -- A 17-point performance from Trevor Booker Friday boosted No. 24 Clemson to an easy 89-67 triumph over North Carolina-Greensboro.

Clemson has won its three games this season by an average of 35 points a contest.

The win by the Tigers spoiled the home opener for the Spartans (0-3), who are celebrating the 50th season for Greensboro Coliseum.

Milton Jennings added 14 points for the Tigers, who shot 55 percent from the field. Andre Young had 13 and David Potter scored 11.

North Carolina-Greensboro was paced by Brandon Evans with 17.

Clemson took control with a 17-2 run that ended the first half. That gave the Tigers a 42-24 lead at the intermission.
