KANSAS CITY, Mo., Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Kansas City Chiefs said Tuesday wide receiver Dwayne Bowe has been suspended four games for running afoul of the NFL's anti-doping policy.

The suspension will begin immediately. It's not known what performance-enhancing substance was involved.

The team said it would have no further comment on Bowe's situation.

The third-year player has 33 catches for 466 yards and four touchdowns in eight games this season.
