NHL: Los Angeles 4, Florida 3 (SO)

SUNRISE, Fla., Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Jack Johnson beat Tomas Vokoun with a shootout goal Monday, giving the Los Angeles Kings a 4-3 victory over the Florida Panthers.

The Kings erased a two-goal deficit and took the lead with three straight goals in the second and third periods but Florida's Victor Oreskovich tied it with 5 minutes to play and the game went to overtime.

Johnson scored one of the Los Angeles goals in regulation with Randy Jones and Jarret Stoll picking up the other two.

Nathan Horton and Cory Stillman got the other Panthers' goals.

Jon Quick stopped 26 shots for Los Angeles.

Vokoun ended up with 31 saves.
