COL FB: Oregon 44, Arizona State 21

EUGENE, Ore., Nov. 15 (UPI) -- LaMichael James scored three first-half touchdowns Saturday, leading 16th-ranked Oregon in a 44-21 Pac-10 Conference rout of Arizona State.

James carried 22 times for 150 yards.

Jeremiah Masoli passed for 120 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

His nine-yard scoring pass to Ed Dickson gave Oregon a 31-7 halftime advantage.

Jeff Maehl caught one scoring pass, while Morgan Flint kicked three field goals for the Ducks (8-2, 6-1 Pac-10), who recovered from a 51-42 loss at Stanford.

Senior running back LeGarrette Blount was re-instated but did not play.

He was suspended for punching a Boise State player following Oregon's 19-8 loss on Sept. 3.

Dimitri Nance led Arizona State with 77 yards on 26 carries, scoring one touchdown.

Samson Szakacsy, playing for the injured Brock Osweiler (concussion), passed for 113 yards with one touchdown and also scored on a one-yard run early in the third quarter for the Sun Devils (4-6, 2-5), who have lost four in a row.
