COL FB: North Carolina 33, Miami-Fla. 24

CHAPEL HILL, N.C., Nov. 14 (UPI) -- North Carolina forced four turnovers Saturday on the way to a 33-24 ACC upset of 15th-ranked Miami-Florida.

Kendric Burney scored on a 77-yard second-quarter interception return, one of his three picks.

Melvin Williams scored on a 44-yard interception return in the fourth and also recovered a fumble.

T.J. Yates completed 17-of-31 passes for 213 yards with one touchdown, and Casey Barth kicked four field goals for the Tar Heels (7-3, 3-3 ACC Coastal Division), who have won three straight and four of five.

They have won five in a row against ranked opponents and are 3-0 against Miami since Butch Davis became their head coach in 2007.

Miami's Jacory Harris threw for 319 yards and one touchdown, but four costly interceptions.

Graig Cooper gained 63 rushing yards with one touchdown.

Leonard Hankerson had seven catches for 92 yards, while Damien Berry and Jimmy Graham added one touchdown apiece for the Hurricanes (7-3, 4-3), who had won two in a row.
