PITTSBURGH, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Nicklas Bergfors scored the first of four unanswered goals Thursday, allowing the New Jersey Devils to overcome an early deficit and defeat Pittsburgh 4-1.

The Devils have opened the season with nine straight road wins, one short of the all-time NHL record set by Buffalo three years ago.

After Bergfors tied the game with 6:10 left in the second period Andy Greene, Zach Parise and David Clarkson produced goals for the Devils. Bergfors assisted on the scores by Greene and Parise.

Martin Brodeur won his 11th game of the season by making 25 saves.

Pittsburgh lost its fourth in a row. The Penguins had been shut out in their two previous contests.

Marc-Andre Fleury took the loss, allowing three goals on 24 shots. Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby had an assist to snap a five-game scoreless streak.
