BERKELEY, Calif., Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Jerome Randle and Theo Robertson helped turn a close game into a runaway Wednesday, helping No. 12 California pull away for a 95-61 win over Detroit.

The Golden Bears held only a 50-44 lead 5 minutes deep into the second half before heating up to win their second game in as many outings. It was the season opener for Detroit.

Randle and Robertson both scored 22 points and combined to make 19-of-20 from the foul line. Patrick Christopher contributed 18.

The Titans were led by Chase Simon with 17. Detroit shot only 35 percent from the field and made just 4-of-20 from 3-point range.
