NEWARK, N.J., Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Martin Brodeur made 31 saves and allowed a lone goal early in the second period Wednesday, leading the New Jersey Devils to a 3-1 decision over Anaheim.

The Devils have scored no more than three goals in each of their last six games but have won them all.

Jamie Langenbrunner, David Clarkson and Zach Parise scored for New Jersey. Clarkson put a wrist shot past Jonas Hiller with 7:08 remaining in the second period to put the Devils in front for good.

Brodeur won for the 14th time this season and boosted his career victory total to 1,013.

Anaheim avoided a shutout thanks to a goal by Corey Perry 2:25 into the second. The Ducks had won their previous two games.

Hiller stopped 22 shots in defeat.
